Business Philosophy
Ackley has built the company on the premise of servicing the customer. Early on, founder E. Michael (Mike) Ackley, believed in doing whatever it took to satisfy the customer and help them succeed. The management of Ackley Machine Corporation believes that the customer has the right to a high-quality product, a reasonable guarantee, and honest and friendly treatment. Ackley believes that by having manufacturers identify their product, it produces a safer product for the consumer, and ultimately services that end customer. Ackley meets commitments on time including shipping on the date promised, timely installation, prompt payment of bills, and meeting all government requirements. Ackley believes in being fair and honest in all dealings with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Policy and Goals
It is Ackley's policy to utilize today's technology and tools to manufacture and market the highest-quality and most state-of-the art product positioning and printing solutions available in a consistent and profitable manner to a worldwide market. Ackley is proud of their FDA compliance and follows stringent guidelines for cGMP.

Staff
Ackley has a staff with a range of expertise needed to meet corporate business objectives. The staff acts as a resource manager and production design consultant to implement and support the identifying printing process during the final stages of product production.

The members of the Sales team are technologically current on all of the marketplace developments. They act as the first level of customer support in helping to customize a printing solution.

The Design Engineering team has over 200+ collective years of experience. Ackley utilizes 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) designing software, allowing engineers to produce high quality layouts for customized designs easily and accurately. All Ackley design engineers have adopted the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop and have achieved AutoCAD14 certification from Autodesk, Inc. Access to these design engineers provides yet another valuable resource to the customer. In addition, utilizing the latest Kodak EktaPro Hi-Spec motion analyzer to record movement, Ackley can view frames in slow motion for an on-the-spot analysis. Engineers can then modify certain component designs in order to capture the product and eliminate this unwanted movement, thus streamlining production.

Ackley employs Technical Service Representatives who orchestrate the Customer Final Test Acceptance visit prior to installation. Once the printing system is approved by the customer, the installation and comprehensive "user friendly" two day on-site Start-Up Training program for manufacturer operators is scheduled. During this introductory install period, these Technical Service Reps are on-call for operation support and maintenance to guarantee efficiency during the first several high-volume production runs.

Operations
Ackley's manufacturing capabilities are evaluated on an ongoing basis. Production operates from Monday at 6:00AM through Saturday at noon. The manufacturing team employs a high speed machining capabilities and customer synchronized resource planning computer system to ensure all printing systems are built as specified and delivered on time. Plus, the Computer Aided Machining (CAM) system creates part programs directly from the CAD drawing files.

Research & Development
Ackley Machine Corporation is committed to continuing research and development to improve on the printing process. We are constantly striving for new ways to improve the quality of the printed product. Improvements in the printed product come from improvements in the mechanical design and also from the control system. The latest control system allows for a more accurate registration. The latest control systems also do more to automate processes and decrease the likelihood of operator errors.

Ackley Machine Corporation printing systems represent the state of the art in product printing.
