Technologically current on all of the marketplace developments, the Ackley sales staff act as your first level of customer support in helping to customize a print, laser drilling and/or vision inspection application. They understand what is important in product branding and help you find the ideal solution for your product. They will also act as resource managers and production design consultants to implement and support your process requirements during the final stages of product production.
Customer access to Ackley engineers throughout the development process provides a valuable resource to our customers. With over 200+ collective years of experience, our engineers utilize the latest in design and analysis software and equipment to create customized designs that streamline production. These include:
- 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software – all Ackley design engineers have adopted the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop and have achieved AutoCAD14 certification from Autodesk, Inc.
- Kodak EktaPro Hi-Spec motion analyzers to record movement. Using this equipment our engineers are able to view frames in slow motion for an on-the-spot analysis of product movement, and then make the modifications necessary to correctly capture the product and eliminate any unwanted movement, thus streamlining production.
Technical Service Representatives
These members of our team orchestrate the Customer Final Test Acceptance visit prior to installation. Once the customer approves the positioning system, the installation and comprehensive “user friendly”, on-site Start-Up Training program for manufacturer operators is scheduled. During this introductory install period, these Technical Service Reps are on-call for operation support and maintenance to guarantee efficiency during the first several high-volume production runs.
